I had to share my latest fun island find with you all today. I bought this bold coral ring from my favorite shop on St. Thomas. Home Again is a hidden treasure on St. Thomas. The proprietors June Marsh and Valerie Hall, or as I'd like to call them the "dynamic duo" have a very discerning eye for everything from antiques to gorgeous fashion jewelry lines. Their shop is full of seaside inspired items and fabulous gifts, art, furniture and great decor. For all of you who will visit the island soon enough you must visit this amazing shop.It is an experience and every item tells a story.

If you like the jewelry you see here give them a ring (no pun intended) at 340.779.2877 to find out how one of these baubles can adorn your finger or wrist. These cool coastal coral rings and bracelets are so fun and colorful it is hard to choose just one style. Priced from $20.- $28 you don't have to.

My ring. I  love it for everyday worn with a simple white tshirt and jeans.
A definite conversation piece.

Coral bracelets

So many color choices so hard to choose.
Love these rings because they are bold but have adjustable bands.
One size fits all.

"I love the Ocean!! I love the beach!! The colors and textures of the sky, the water, the sand and the trees completely inspire me. The movement of sun and shade playing on all of these entices me. The scents and the air... I find such peace when I am there. Ideas come flowing to me. The mountains give me a very similar inspiration. The textures, the sky ,the terrain. I love being in all of it." ~ Patty Anderson

We love her inspiration tags too!

Isola Bella's Q & A with the fabulous Patty Anderson

What is a typical day like in your studio?
PA ~ "I am also a personal trainer. I love the one on one with my clients. It is a nice balance because when I am in the studio, it is just me. I finish with my clients mid morning and hit the studio. I check my emails, then it's down to work."

What is your favorite piece from the collection?
PA ~ "My favorite jewelry design at the moment is the Star of the Sea. The Sterling oxidized chain is made in Italy. It is gorgeous. The first time I got it I was so afraid to cut it and play around with it. I finally got my nerve up and cut into it. I scattered pearls on it with sterling wire and placed one of my starfish through the 3 chains. I was thrilled with the design. I love wearing it. I call it my signature piece."

"My favorite belt is the Starfish Buckle and the Pink Gator leather. The starfish buckle was my original thought for a buckle. It is where the whole belt line originated."

"I am currently adding 4 new women's buckles to my line. They are an anchor, a heart, a whale and a flower. I also have a men's line in the works. It will be a preppy, beachy, line. Both seersucker and leather belts. My husband and son are very excited!!"

What is fun and inspiring to you?.
PA ~ "I am a very family oriented person. I enjoy more than anything being with my husband of almost 24 years and our three children, Graham, Kiera and Laine.

I am addicted to yoga!! I love it and find such calmness in it. We have recently started Stand Up Paddle boarding. What a great workout and a wonderful way to be on the water. Living in Florida, I feel so lucky to have the beach and ocean right here. We hop on the intercoastal and glide on crystal clear turquoise water. It is incredible. We see sea turtles, sting rays, fish... Amazing!"
A perfect ending to her day. A gorgeous sunset.

SeaHorse-ing Around

There are so many fun ways designers interpret the gorgeous symbol of the seahorse into functional wares. From artwork to accents and film, these are a few of my favorite discoveries this week.

Did you know? In ancient times the Greeks and Romans believed the seahorse was a symbol or strength and power. Ancient Europeans believed the seahorse carried the souls of deceased sailors to the underworld giving them safe passage and protection until they met their soul’s destination. Sailors have long viewed the seahorse as a good luck charm too. Seahorses are believed to bring good luck in many cultures and symbolize patience, friendship, protection and happiness.

Fun Seahorse Facts:
Seahorses gained international protection on May 15, 2004.
They vary in color, including orange, red, yellows, grey & greens.
During mating season, they utter musical sounds.
They mate under a full moon.
Seahorses like to swim in pairs linked by their tails.
