I have been a very busy elf this week getting things together for my Holiday Trunk Show on St. Thomas next week. It is a fun departure from my hand-printed collection to work on some holiday inspired gifts. These glass ornaments were inspired by my sea urchin collection. They are handpainted and finished with gorgeous fine glitters in gold, silver, antique green and purple and are packaged in handprinted sea urchin boxes. If you are on island stop by Home Again in Red Hook Plaza from 5-7 next Saturday, December 11th.

Isola Bella Resort 2011
I had a blast on Sunday jetting around the island on our powerboat. I took some of my new linen hobo bags along for the ride. We anchored at Mingo Cay just off the main island of St. Thomas for some beachcombing, lunch and relaxation. I shot these photos on the boat of the new seafan and fish designs. Our anchor line was a great prop.
There are many more colors and styles coming this winter.
Fuschia Seafan on Stingray 100% Russian Linen
I love collecting seafans that wash up along the shores here. This block-print was inspired by a purple seafan found on a neighboring uninhabited island. It took a few weeks to carve and is one of my favorite designs which is echoed throughout the collection.
Violet Seafan on Sand 100% Russian Linen
I chose metallic inks for the fish design because it reminded me of the lustre of fish scales. You will love our fine waterbased metallic paints that are soft and smooth and add just enough subtle shine. These are not glittery but oh so chic.
Silver Mist fish design
on our signature stingray 100% Russian Linen
Citron metallic fish design
on our signature stingray 100% Russian Linen
Old tree on Mingo Cay
The beach was entirely made up of coral fragments. Unfortunately I had to swim in from the boat so I could not take along my Canon EOS with me. I also found large Bamboo stakes which will become sculptures for the house.
Next boat/beachcombing trip I will have my husband snap some pics from the boat to show you how I swim with these large pieces of driftwood I find. I swim with them like they are noodles. It is quite a funny site.
My beautiful Treasures
